It was close to home in Ida Grove, which made visiting easier, but more importantly, it was the right place for him. He was in a lot of pain and wasn’t always easy to care for, but the staff never wavered — they were kind, compassionate, and attentive every single day.What truly stood out to me was how they treated him with dignity, even in his most difficult moments. Toward the end, when we couldn’t be there, a few of the staff members sat with him so he wouldn’t be alone. That meant the world to our family.
